Maybe the driver was trying to "flee" a faster car and was the recipient of the "pit manuever"???...

Probably for the same reason people still say "French fries" instead of "Freedom fries".

If they did raise the MSRP to include a lame driving school which I would never go to anyway...chevy would probably lose some sales.
The only people crashing these cars are the people who quite frankly have no idea what they are doing...so it is nobody's fault but their own. These cars are street legal "race cars". How they crash something that handles like it is on rails is beyond me! |

Looks like this guy got clipped in the right rear. Kind of a big leap to say that he was driving irrationally. I have seen all kinds of craziness from other drivers just because they are the same street with a ZL1. I just hope that he/she is OK and the car can be fixed as good as new.

The car has lots of available torque down low and has a rear end that can get away from you in a heartbeat. Makes you realize why GM recommends a 1500 mile "break-in" period? You have to get accustomed to the handling of the car first.

The problem is that many people think they are F1 drivers and turn all electronics off. 580 hp and no electronics/driver skill equal wrecks.

That's true but a few accidents have occurred with the T/C on? |

Ya', I don't need nannies. I have a wife who keeps reminding me that I am no "freaking" race car driver.
Her insightful words always (well mostly) make me save it for the track. |
