That is a vinyl cut out I had done at a local graphics shop, not etched.

We have bright LED strips offered here: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...therproof.html

AND we have two choices of controllers (RF and WiFi) either of those controllers gives you the option to customize your own colors.

I'd pick the WiFi so you can match your color to perfection via color wheel

Pretty easy I would think. You could run a wire from the battery and put a switch in between the battery connection and the led strip:
