Anyone sell their V6 for a SS?
I love my 2010 2LT RS Camaro. But I never have actually test driven or sat in the drivers seat of a SS. I just finished off the loan on my car.
JW, have any of you traded your V6 In for the SS? Or just went and bought a SS to go along with the V6. What to do oh what to?  Need advice and I would like to know has anyone traded or bought a SS when they had a V6 prior? If you have done this whats your opinion? How is the SS compared to the V6?-Thanks for your input. |

a lot of people have trade for a v8, i think i see a new one like ever other week or every week.

Like mikess said seems about one a week from C5 upgrades from the V6 to the V8. If you have the means go for it you will love the upgrade some of us on here could care less sure I could call Becky over at Rodgers Chevy and tell her what SS I want and either keep my 2LT/RS or trade her in for an SS but I dont see the need for the extra power in all reality when will I actually use it. Sure I can say hey look at me I have a V8 no thanks I have a V8 that sits in the garage 360 days a year.
In the end it's up to you if you decide to do it you will be happy and that's all that matters. Sean

Didn't trade the v6 for an SS but I did purchase an SS after driving my wifes v6.

I owned an ABM 1LT Non-RS for about 6 months then traded it in, I m sure I took a loss but we are a double income no kids family. So I think it was worth the small loss. My only regret is not being able to find an ABM SS at that time.
