I haven't street raced in 20 year but that is not how anybody did it. Is roll racing on the highway the way it's done now? The automotive equivalent of t-ball IMO

My grandfather used to tell me stories of him roll racing in the late fifties and early sixties. He lived in Pennsylvania his whole life and he knew Donnie Yenko. His stories of him roll racing Donnie Yenko and my grandfather's 56 dodge....later on my grandfather went on to own a Buick dealership and was a GM guy the rest of his life...

Probably depends on where you grew up and the geography. Here, you either drag raced from a dead stop on Avonhead in an industrial park or street raced from standing start if you could, or a roll if you couldn't up Snake Road.

highly impressed with the turbo cobalt ss but they are good little cars when they aren't in the shop. mine however was always in the shop so I sold it and got a Charger, but i do miss the handling and turbo surge of that little sedan! ultimate sleeper car since they only made around 500 of the sedans nobody knew it had some pickup.

Cobalt SS's, Neon SRT4's and cars like that are stupid quick when properly modified and built.

I've seen a perfectly usable street SRT4 lay down a 10.95 @ 138 MPH

I just found out from the most reliable source that almost 71% of Hellcat Challengers ordered are A8's....

I don't know if the 6 speed Hellcat is even in the same zip code on performance as the auto.
