Here is the strips on mine... The red is "Solo Cup" I took a plastic solo cup to painter and he matched it. It is the same height of solo cup as well. We just held it up to the wall.

The top section of my garage door isn't coming completely up against the frame in the middle...any suggestions? it's about a 2" gap

Some more updates. Finished the bottom coat and the upper section's first coat. Luckily that one went on great and only a few spots need a second coat so I won't have to paint the entire thing again.

I even painted the step and added a gripper strip with a reflective stripe for easier sight in low light conditions.

First coat of the upper done.

Now cleaned up with everything put back (at least until I get a real work bench, work cabinets, shelving, and a damn shed to put all yard stuff in)

And now some with the car in it.

crazy what a difference just a coat of paint makes... Looks great.

Now just have to do the floor and you will be set.

Some updates, minor.

Finished hanging the shelves over the garage door and cleaned up a bit. Also painted the exposed wood around the door frame and the exposed sill plate at least until I build some bit of a lip to hide it.....also bought the reflective tape to help see the door jamb...thoughts? I was considering adding a second width-wise to make it all the way over and then go down to the floor.

I was thinking of taking flood light fixtures and replacing my single bulb fixtures with them to add more light....the only other option I have is to change the fixtures to outlets and then hang shop lights.
