Bias ply is fine. We road them all the time.

For the front I bought some 2008 CTS spare tire rims and put a 12mm spacer on to clear the brembos with M&H Radial front runners 185/50/18 for roughly $750 total with the spacers. The spacers I bought were hub centric 5X4.5 and had them machined to fit 5X120 because the 5X120 spacers were around $130 the cheapest I could find and it cost me a 12 pack of beer to have the 5X4.5's machined to 5X120. They were $50 vs the $130. I weighed the rims and tires individually vs the stock tires and rims. The front were 28lbs a piece with the CTS spares with tires vs the stockers which were 62lbs a piece saving 68lbs of rotating mass in the front. The Corvette 18's weighed in at 58lbs a piece with the Mickey's saving 20lbs combined of rotating mass off the rear weight of 68lb weight for the factory rims and tires. So I saved 88lb's rotating mass and a lot stickier tire on the rear. I have yet to run this combo on the track because of other things that have come up unrelated to the Camaro but I expect to better my previous 2.1 60's probably by .4 tenths and the 1320 by roughly the same. Total cost was under $1600 for this setup, hope this helps with the options you are thinking about.

I have the welds rt-s 17", front and rear. Those any body make skinnys, and drag radials in a 28" diameter, or will I be fine with a 26" diameter set of tires.

No 28" radial skinny available currently.

Not sure on the 26" tire. I thought it was to short and when combined with a 28" rear tire the car would throw a bunch of lights.

Thx, my friend have M/T 275-40-18 DR, he said I can have. I think that's a 26" diameter. If I get skinnys in a 26" diameter, and those DR's, will I be fine. Or Will it throw a bunch of lights.

Couldn't tell you if lights are going to go off because I haven't ran them yet but they probably will considering I put no sensors in them and the rears don't have sensors either. But I will be using them track only and if lights do go off I'll just reset it when I put my daily rims and tires back on. I know from just doing a burnout with the nannies off with my daily driven tires and line lock on all the abs/stabilitrack lights come on anyway just like on a dyno. It all resets itself after driving a bit, nothing to worry about IMO it just the way it was intended to work.
