exhaust and CAI without a tune?

is running a axle back exhaust and a CAI with out a tune ok for the engine?
i ask this because the engine will have a different air flow or whatever you call it over stock....

i know it will work in terms of getting gains but will it hurt the engine over time.

Depends on CAI but in most cases you are FINE but you won't see the full benefit of the parts installed.

Is the Diablo Predator 93 octane tune "enough" to improve the performance of a CAI and catback exhaust?

Yes the Diablo 93 octane tune works well with those mods but again it will depend on which CAI your talking about some need custom tuning to take full benefit, others need no special tuning

Read the spread sheet and pay attention to the fuel trims, the systems with the closest to factory fuel trims not only did well they need no special tuning.

Ted.

I am deciding between the Halltech or the Rotofab.
