We only did one walkthrough with the builder after the build process started and that was at mid build. We got together to make sure all the outlets and A/V ports were correct before they sprayed the foam insulation, what we wanted for shelving/hanging rods in the closets and cupboard design/layout.
Thats how I did it as well. I was there every day or every other day my project manager hated me and couldnt wait for this thing to be done because everytime I saw something wrong I was on his ass.
He hated when I tore sheetrock off the walls because they were throwing there lunch bags in the walls and covering it up.
Boy Taco bell would have smelled good in those walls and the bug it would have attracted would have been even more awsome.

there isnt a square inch of my home I dont know about lol

Again I'm pretty lucky, My first inspection will be tomorrow... Another after framing is done, next after electrical/before drywall, then another after drywall/before cabinets.

One after cabinets and then our final walk through.

Here are the most recent pics. Everyone should have a garage with a drain...

I love the drain in the slab and how you made that extra little stall off to the side.

The Garage will be 707' SF

We extened the one car about 4 feet so I can set that space up for my work benches and tools.

But dayum these guys move quick... 9 man crew and by 9:30 they had almost all the perimeter walls up. left em a couple coolers of water and gatorade... The foreman asked me if I was a politician... I laughed and said no. He said "well that sucks I was hoping you could get us some strippers later..."

More pics.

Well of course. Nobody else here even knows what my uncle looks like.

That guy looks just like him.

What did you think I meant?
