Despite all of the sarcastic thoughts/comments going through my mind...the purpose of the suede and the contour of the seats is to help hold the driver in position. It seems that a "slip cover" would do just that...slip.

I know the seats look better but I didn't want the fear of grease on my suede to hinder me from driving my car when I want.

I was thinking the same thing too. I am more worried about wearing out the suede. Once the suede gets a little worn, it becomes noticable. Custom fitted seat covers do look pretty nice though.

Boooo for seat covers! I am not a fan and think that those really look cheap. My wife's 2007 Saturn has suede inserts on her seats (Redline package) and even after 6 years and 75K miles they show no signs of wear. I'd rather take my chances and just take extra caution then put those in my ZL1.
