I may get back into this for the next two weeks until AC III comes out. I hate to say it but I was really disappointed with the way the end game was handled. It's completely my personal opinion but I just didn't like the way everything was a gear check, not skill check.

They just came out with Patch 1.05, and it adds some new content to hunt for in Inferno.

Doesn't really change the gear check part of it, but that sort of the way most games go these days. Everyone has moved to 3 skill trees per character, 5 picks per level in the tree...and set stat increases as you level. Star Wars has it, Other games do something similar.

It makes me sick.

There was a game called Asheron's Call, which is dated graphically now...but had one of the best character systems I've played.

Dungeons & Dragons Online uses the d20 rules which is pretty cool, and that's even free to play now...though you pay for "premium" stuff in some way. I've not played it in years.

I wish game developers would try to come up with more unique character systems. The rubber stamping of MMO's is just wrong.

i played that game for nine years, it's still around and from what i hear it still has the best PvP system.. i prefer that kind of character build as well, the Diablo way of dumbing down the creation is kind of boring..

Well me and Russo still play. Crazy story I found a set amulet that sold on the RMAH for $200 real money no lie crazy to think someone would pay that much for a fictional in game item.

you have been out for a while since the new patch but we can hook you up we have so much spare gear it isnt even funny.

Haven't played in a couple of months. Got my monk through everything, could do the level 3 stuff (end game, can't remember the term) ok, but not 4. Searching for keys was a pain, so hadn't really spent a lot of time grinding for keys.

Got the plans for the infernal machine last night. Been doing runs for the act 1 key but no luck so far. Just bumped my dps up to over 100k yesterday, and i'm trying a new build out for higher MP farming. Going to try to farm the keys on MP5 at least there it's a 50/50 shot.

I mostly have just been doing act3/4 on MP0 as a TR monk flying through. I've gotten like 6 paragons in the past few days and about 3/4m in gold/drops.
