Welcome to the area!

Mine is already in storage.
here is what I do to my car, I have been storing a car since 1990
fill the gas tank and add stabilizer
place ply wood under tires (helps prevent flat spots)
Place dryer sheets inside car , in trunk, engine compartment and in exhaust (keeps critters out)
take battery out and store it in a warm place (others leave the battery in the car and put a battery tender in it)
Cover it.
Pray it is a short winter!
that's just how I do it you will get a lot of other ways, the biggest things are keep battery charged and keep the critters out of it.

Good luck!

Great info. Scott. But like he says not every buddy does it the same.

What are you testing to see if you would like the looks of the car with 22in. wheels on it?

Welcome to snow country. At Fort Drum, I assume. If you've never dealt with snow before are you in for a treat. Snowfall in a winter east of Lake Ontario can be over 200". I'm probably one of the closest to you in the club. In Oswego County, just off I-81, NW of Central Square, off the SE corner of the lake.

Not sure if anything else is planned this year. This isn't normal weather around here for the beginning of November. Usually we've had some snow by now and the roads have been sanded and salted.

As far as storage goes, heated is best, I keep mine at about 40 degrees. Depending on what tires you have on the car, this can be very important. Most Ultra High Performance Summers and better have specific cold weather storage requirements. Put a battery tender on the battery to maintain charge. If you disconnect the battery, remove it and store it someplace warm with a battery tender. Plan to put some miles on the car when you take it out of storage if you have to get it inspected in New York to get all the emissions routines to run prior to inspection. Fuel stabilizer in the tank. If possible get the car on jackstands to get some load off the suspension and tires, although not absolutely necessary.

Ok, checked what you had listed as your car. ZL1 tires will require special treatment for the cold. Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G2s should not be driven less than 40 degrees and should not be stored at less than 20 degrees. If they get colder than 20 let them warm up to at least 40 deg F over 24 hours before use. Google Goodyear PSB #2011-10 for more info.

Yes heated storage is great. Especially in my own garage to work on it in the winter. But then I mod every winter.
Seriously I need to go to mod rehab.

It helps if your storage space is 10 miles down the road and you don't have access to it easily.

That is so true. But the type of insurance I have on my vehicle it has to be parked in my garage & the garage has to be locked at all times.

It must be hard to bring the garage with you where ever you go
