where did you get that loan from? Did you try PenFed? You can fill out the application online and can get approved in less than 2 hours and have your check in 2-3 days. www.penfed.org

Since most of you guys are in CT I wanted to introduce myself and throw something out there.
Im Sean and I am the other owner of Swift Performance in Norwich. We have a huge car show that we are co-sponsors for that will be taking place at Dodd stadium on the 20th of September and I would LOVE to see a bunch of new Camaros there! We are in charge of the modern car section (84 and newer) Last year we had about 130 modern cars and about 300 classics. We have been doing it for a few years now and it is always a good time! There will be trophies and give aways all day. We are also looking for people who would like to be judges for the car show if anyone is interested please let me know...there would be something in it for you.

And to kind of get back on Topic here....I know there is an orange SS at Mallons right now (right up the street from the shop) and there is at least one blue SS at Carter Chevrolet in Manchester.

You have to be VERY knowledgeable about the car you are judging.

Very small example of judging a stock car: What was factory orig.?......Take a bolt for example...You have to know what shape, size, type and color & type of plating, or if it was painted the color, also was it flat, semi gloss or gloss...... and thats just for 1 bolt.

We dont get that crazy...lol Basically we have a sheet with a bunch of catergories on it....each cat would have say 15 points...then you judge a group of cars...say Vettes (84 and newer for us) you go through the sheet and score the individual cars in that group. Looking for cleanliness, form following function, things like that...If you like cars it is not very difficult.

I just want to say that the guys at Swift Motorsports are great! Got my hideaway plate holder from them. For those of you guys like me who have to drive onto a military base this thing is GOLD! Very lucky to have them in the state. I think they also stock maganflow exhausts.

Thanks Nuke! Are you on a boat? Myself and the other owner Dan were both on the Providence for quite a while, so we know all about going on base...LOL Hope you can make it to the show on the 20th!
We have kooks headers back coming as well as DSE suspensions...both should be here this week! We also have a large order of plate holders coming in this week so hopefully the shipping times will be much shorter.
