I've had the absolute worst luck!

The past month has been horrid. 4 weeks ago my passenger side front panel was keyed. Lost my car for 2 days as it was in the body shop, also lost $250 to get that done. Last week, at the movie theater, some dumb ass hit my driver side door while he opened up his/her door. Took off the paint (about a inch wide) and left some scratches on my car. I again had the car in the body shop for 2 more days and lost another $250. I got my car back this past Monday and on Wednesday night someone broke into my car and stole $1200 in cash and my Ipod touch while my car was on my driveway. And no, I don't live in a bad neighborhood.

If you're wondering why I had money in my car, I had taken the money out of my bank account so i could purchase rims the next morning. Since I got home at 1 am and parked all the way up my driveway closest to my house I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to leave the money in the center console where I have left my Ipod since I bought the car back in October.

Now i'm convinced Becky is giving me some bad luck and am thinking about selling her. Freaking sucks I have to even think about something like that.

Sorry for long write up, I'm just venting.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck but I don't think you need to sell your car!

Someone hit mine tonight, no license, no insurance and that was the first thing I thought - I hope it doesn't become a target now :(

That sucks man, I have paranoid neighbors and 3 boxer dogs, if anyone comes by my house, people are watching, and if they come in. Remington 870 12 gauge will help them out.

I was at a red light after work and got rear-ended. Not hard, thank God, or it would have been worse. It's not bad really, but it broke my heart. He chipped the base of the bumper in a couple places. He didn't really speak English and asked me not to call the cops but I had no choice, I couldn't get anything out of him. I'm not sure if he was telling me there was something wrong with his brakes or he was braking but didn't stop in time. He didn't even understand when I was asking for a phone number. I think he apologized 100 times and I felt kinda bad when the cop showed up cause I know what's gonna happen to him, but he wrecked my baby so .

All the way home I kept telling myself it could have been worse but it didn't cheer me up none.

Wow, "justifiable homicide" seems to be the only phrase that comes to mind right now. I know the $1200 lost sucks, however, what kind of damage was done when they broke in?

Not a clue. I don't even know where to take it.

I'm going to swing by the GM dealer tomorrow before work and talk to their body man.

(actually, it aint gonna cost me nothing, my insurance company said they'd cover it)

Did anyone know you had those $1,200 in your car besides you? Maybe you told someone you were going to the bank.... Just sounds too...coincidental to me.
