Mods from Down Under

Hi guys just chiming in to say G'Day from Australia and show off the mods I'm doing on my 2012 SS, just fitted an Airaid CAI, and this weekends project is fitting my new Kooks headers, just waiting on my BBK 95mm throttle body to turn up and then a dyno tune. Fingers crossed the headers will fit with the right hand drive conversion without any clearance problems.

Huh. That'll be tricky. Hopefully it works out for you. Post pics when you're done. I'm sure some folks would like to see how well they fit on a right hand drive.

That engine bay looks sharp! Excellent job. The brake booster/master cylinder looks better over on that side - ends up adjacent to the anti-lock mechanism and brake lines;
maybe that is what Camaro's Australian Holden design engineers originally had in mind for placement.

So far the conversion has not caused any problems fitting accessories, though I'm sure my luck will run out one day.

It's a pity they never built a right hand drive version here, it would have been a lot cheaper not having to convert it.

You can't register a left hand drive here unless it's 30 years old or older

Looks awesome!! The red/white color combo on the engine covers is by far the sharpest looking imo.

BBK throttle bodies are not known on here for being a friendly bolt on....
