There are probably others that's just the one that I know of. It shows that the system is certainly capable.

Yes and no.... Here is a quick blurb about it.

"Microsoft and Sony both have unique hardware in their next-gen consoles. Sony opted for more raw power with the PlayStation 4. The DDR5 memory in the PS4 gives Sony the edge when it comes to their GPU, but that won’t necessarily mean that the best games are on that console.

An article on Edge Online discusses just what these hardware differences mean, and that more raw power might not be enough to give Sony a big advantage in the next generation.

“DDR5 is basically 50 per cent more powerful than DDR3,” says Anton Yudintsev CEO of Gaijin Entertainment. “But the memory write is bigger on Xbox One. So it depends on what you’re doing. PS4 is more powerful, but you can’t just write to the memory, you need to read sometimes.”

“They maybe have a little more GPU,” says Lobb. “We have eSRAM [embedded memory] and crazy bandwidth to that eSRAM. Which is going to be better in the long run from a developer? We’re going to see as the games go head to head. A lot of it will come down to – as always – which exclusive teams push a piece of hardware best.”

Specwise yes. But its doesn't mean the display will be 50% better. The actual output will be hardly noticeable. They have already run side by side comparisons of games such as Battlefield 4 on the systems and you cant tell the difference. In fact, the Xbox One actually looked clearer in the comparisons than the PS4.

Spec wise yes, but you won't really see it with 3rd party games. First party is a different story. However, Ghosts and BF4 both run at a lower resolution on Xbone.

it's very hard to tell a difference between 720 and 1080. I don't think anyone will be able to tell the difference between xbox and ps graphics. not a breakthrough in graphics, anyways.

Depends on the size of the tv. I personally don't start to notice until I get into larger tv's like the 60", although several sources will tell you that people will start to notice it after about 50", and only when you compare them side-by-side. That being said, I have an 80" TV in the living room... I promise you'll notice on that My bedroom has only got a 46", and when I eventually get the XBone, I will probably put it in there.

In general, I would bet most people wouldn't notice the difference. From my understanding though, PS4 is supposed to support 4k. Not that it's an issue now, but once the price becomes affordable in a few years (and when 4k games are actually developed), I would imagine this will get revisited. I believe XBone had said they will be 4k capable too, and they also said that games developed at 1080 will run at 1080. But we all know that being capable of running something doesn't mean it will run it well. Possible that PS4 might have a problem actually running things decent at 4k when the time arrives.

3rd party developers who already have and have had both systems for awhile, say yes. Until both systems come out and we can see the systems side by side we won't know for sure. I don't count the so called side by side comparison movies because Microsoft got caught back in Sept showing BF4 and other games on Windows 7 computers with better hardware than what the Xbone has. Come to find out, they never actually have shown their games running on actual Xbone hardware.

Neither system is nor will be capable of 4k games. Both systems will however be able to play 4k movies and video. Also something to keep in mind, the average 4k movie right now is over 200 gigs compared to a 1080 movie at under 2 gigs, that's a 100x increase. Most next gen games range between 40-50 gigs. If we use the same increase we are looking at 4k games coming in at almost 5 tb.

Unless the TV is 60+ inches you probably won't notice it. I feel like the PS benefit will pay off at the end of its life cycle when it can run games that the bone can't.
