Making the Bee Sting Harder.
So after having the Camaro since May, i finally got some mods done to it.
I originally went with an SLP Loudmouth 2 exhaust, but it really did not sound all that happy, especially with the original headers and x pipe. With that in mind, i went to the good boys at Kooks and got me a full exhaust system. Longtube headers, xpipe and exhaust. Here is a video of what this beast sounds like now. Keep in mind this is an automatic. As always, ZEUS Performance did the work on my car, and i have to say that i am more than happy with them. These guys are just amazing. They baby the car as much as i do, and they do great work. Also, to add to the beauty of it, i went with a Cold Air intake from Modular Mustang Racing's 5th Gen Camaro Racing division. This comming Friday she will be getting Tuned and i will have some Dyno sheets. I plan on showing at Autofair, so i hope to see you guys there.

That is for the Exhaust The intake was around 360 or something like that from Modular Mustang Racing. Zeus Performance here in town did all the work to my car. I would not trust me 2010 to any other shop. They do an amazing job

Very very nice!!
One of the best sounding exhausts I have heard to date. Any problems with the engine diagnostics afterward? I have read that the LT headers will sometimes do that |

Well right now she is throwing a check engine light on me, and according to the On Star report it is an emissions issue. I am having the car tuned on Friday and it will take care of the check engine light... or so i hope. According to the intake manufacturers, those will not throw engine lights. I will let you know after Friday.

Interested in hearing what she does after the tune. Planning on adding Kooks LTH and a Corsa CB plus a tune in the next couple of weeks so am curious to any issues that might come from it and can they be resolved. |

I was thinking about going with the Corsa CB, buuuut, they just sounded too high pitched for my taste, so i went with Kooks. It was also a bit cheaper too.
Any how, the funny thing about the engine light is that it took about a week or so of me driving the damn thing to pop up. A tune will take care of everything. There is nothing wrong with the car, but the computer is all sorts of confused due to the LTHs, so gass mileage is not that good. With that in mind, i parked the beast and i'm leaving it alone till Friday. I will have some dyno numbers and videos up as soon as i am done. I will keep you updates Mike.

I've read that this happens but the tune solves the problem.
Definitely interested in seeing the dyno numbers. Thanks for the update! |
