I lived in Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa for 15 years and high temperature averages in April range from 82 - 87 degrees. It's a very dry climate and only rains an average of 35 days per year, so chances of fantastic weather is very good!

Sounds like a fun roadtrip. Was at C5F I with the family, but it was only 4 hours away. This one will be 1,750+ miles, 25+ hours one way according to MapQuest. I will be making the trip without the family because of school and distance. Will be looking for a caravan as the event gets closer.

My guess is that they wanted a guaranteed # of cars and that $$$ up front plus the $$$ from the people who just arrive last minute.

Oh well have fun now the West Coast Boys & Girl;s can have fun.

We had our annual Goatrun to Vegas 2 wks ago. No drag racing this year because after we had everything setup LVMS developed a diva complex and decided they couldn't accommodate us. My bet is they wouldn't have accommodated your event either.
You want to race Phoenix has 2 great tracks (Firebird and Speed World) and we have casino's too.
