Keep an eye out for this Hammerhead install

Dear Frank Rehak,

Just a note to let you know that GM High-Tech Performance has featured your product in a tech article titled, “Hammerhead” on pages 52-57 in our February 2013 issue.

Quick question for the Driveshaft shop.
If a customer would have the DSS axles and DSS drive shaft with the stock 8.6".
If the customer upgrades to the 12 bolt setup, can the DSS axles & drive shaft be reused(same mesurements) ?????

Thanks in advance.

Yes they will, either set of axles and either shaft (regular rear flange or the Blue one)

Thanks for the info.

What's good with this setup, customer can do upgrades by stages.
Axle shafts first, driveshaft second, housing last as an example. No money lost to the customer.

How does this rearend hold up to Track Days (Road Courses like Willow Springs, Button Willow) and Silver State Classic Challenge and Standing Mile (Mojave Mile) Events? I think something is going out on my car, when deccelerating from 150mph, there's a loud whirling sound from the rearend area. Thank you for being in GMHTP and showcasing your products.
