Here's a video from the first thread about it, you can hear the sound a little better:

And here's the first thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...&highlight=bbk
But the thread ended up turning into an discussion about the legality of headers...

I hope your wild guess is more correct than mine. I'll put in a bet that they'll be $800-$900. I see what they're charging for the V8 longtubes.
Any hope of them being cheap was smashed when they threw that car on the dyno and saw what the headers will do.

Wow! 33 HP is really impressive! I think this might have to be the first performance mod we get!

Headers + CAI + Catback + tune .. I wonder what kind of numbers to the wheels we can expect from that?

Well, taking into considering the 33HP gain wasn't at peak.....and I'm no means an expert, but I'd think you'd see somewhere around 340ish HP after all that (give or take) at the crank wouldn't you??

Wow that'd be an awsome V6. *Dreams *

Depends on the type of coating... there are some less expensive stainless steel ones... its when you start doing ceramic coating, titanium, etc... that you can get into the $$$$....

Yep... it was only 18 RWHP gain at peak... The big gain came at 5400 RPM... Interestingly enough there is a pretty decent gain on my dyno sheet at that same RPM range with... the same HP "dip" in the stock setup is there also... The axle-back seems to smooth that out too! hmmmm...

The BBK peak HP was 273 RWHP up from 255 RWHP... at 255 RWHP, i'm going to assume this was a manual car... so... 322 HP at the crank - 15% drive train loss = 273 RWHP..

2010 Camaro RS on the dyno GAINS 33HP and 30 ft lb of torque!

BBK have released a short video, It shows a bone-stock 2010 Camaro RS V6 on their dyno. The car made an impressive 255 horsepower at the rear wheels ! (aka RWHP) It’s advertised as 304HP by Chevy – but that is at the flywheel.

For a V6, those are GREAT NUMBERS. As expected BBK has designed and developed an exhaust system to replace the factory stock restrictive system.

BBK designers and engineers got to work on this system as soon as they got their hands on the all new RS and designed a complete set of full length headers that attach to a high flow catalytic converter – that’s what makes the power! 33 Horsepower and 30ft/lb of torque over stock ! This BBK Header system now takes the rear wheel numbers up to 288 at the rear wheels !! Now these BBK full length RS Camaro headers aren’t ready for distribution yet, but when they hit the market they are sure to become VERY popular! You can also be sure that all BBK Distributors & retailers will be sure to have plenty of systems on their shelves waiting for eager RS owners to start to massage the power out of their new rides !

Click here to watch the YouTube Video from BBK on a full revoew of the headers, including full installation and dyno results!
At 1:21 on the Video it shows a stock 255 HP and a 273 HP with headers but it lists 288HP on the site and in this post at the rear wheels? Am I missing something or is this a mistake?

Well, titanium is a type of ceramic also.

There's stainless, which is just normal stainless steel. Looks nice, but doesn't have the heat resistant properties of the ceramic.

The ceramic coatings keep underhood temps down. As far as I know, the only difference between silver ceramic and titanium ceramic is color (but I could be wrong on that).
