Doesn't look like it. If they build a midsize coupe it wouldn't be a CTS variant.

Ain't that the truth. While I'd love to see Cadillac with some more brand-unique power train offerings, if the 4.5L TT V8 can't at least match the LSA, GM shouldn't bother.

Very surprised they wouldn't just put the LT4 in and call it a day...but yes this makes it even more interesting!

I'm confident whatever they throw in there will out-gun the LSA.

They are....

When trying to re-establish yourself, you need to convey obvious value. While I do not for a second believe that Cadillac's aren't worth their ARP's (except Escalade and ELR), it's going to take a decade of consistent quality and value to convince some people to walk into a Cadillac dealership, let alone buy one.
