Dealer Allocation Proof - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Im planning on ordering this week, however my Grandfathers advice is ringing in my head "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see!"
With this being said, how do I get proof of my prospective dealers allocation and the number of orders submitted by them to date?
I trust my dealer [as much as anyone can] and they have done nothing to give me just cause to question them however, I want to know what they have that is proof of their allocation and what orders they have submitted. If they are as up front and honest as I think they are, they should have no problem showing me this. I just want to know what to ask for.

You won't be getting proof unless they want to show you a printout from when the allocation numbers that used to be on the gmlaunch.com website (dealer-only webiste). Those numbers are subject to change anyway.

There will be a consensus late Feb. that will tell them how many they are allocated for the month of March. So I suppose if they were really nice they might have docs to show you proof of those numbers. But if you wait til then to order you probably won't be getting one this year anyway, unless you are wanting a V6.
