Some outlets have incorrectly reported that the SS will be based on the Caprice PPV, which is entirely false. The Caprice PPV has a longer wheelbase than the upcoming SS.

New V-8 Caprice
Ohh! I saw one of these today in Hampton VA. It was a plainly marked police car. They look kinda small.

That thing isn't very sharp looking. The old Caprices looked much better, less like a compact sold by the japanese, and more like a full size American car.
