I didn't mean to be brutal. I just wanted to know if you'd done it before because I've heard it can be tricky, especially on black cars. I know I wouldn't try it on my own car because I don't know what I'm doing. I'd let someone who has done it before and knows what they're doing do it (in my case, a pro).

I'm sure it will turn out great! I mean it involves sandpaper and no rotating wheels or power tools... what can go wrong???

It will involve a Porter Cable Polisher.

Bigworm. I'm gonna check it out. I wasn't real happy with the fonts I had to choose from on the one I posted.

I betcha that PC works better than a ceiling fan and a paint mixer

Serious moment... just be easy sanding edges, easiest place to burn thru. If it's already pretty slick (no orange peel) you're practically done already

Yup. That's what the painter told us. Having polished in the past I know exactly what would happen. And this plastic stuff on cars these days tends to have raised edges too.

LMAO, Ya, I actually told him it was unnecessary but he insisted. Then at the gas station I realized it might have been his little joke against me. It was bad enough I had no front fascia but the redneck hood latch was just too much.

Do you use twine to hold the hood of your muscle car down? You might be a camaro5 member.......and from Alabama
