Orbital polishing question....

First time polishing....so when I did the hood, front bumper, trunk, roof... I polished...glazed....then waxed those panels.
Now the question...if the side panels don't really need polished should I just glaze and wax those panels? Or should I still hit those up with the fine polish first...? And if I don't will there be any difference between the panels?.. Thank you for any input!!!

Guess I should also add that I did the tops of the rear quarter panels and the tops of the front fenders??

I'll echo CD07 on this one -

All processes in detailing are 'as needed'

If its dirty, wash it.
If its rough, clay it.
If its swirled, polish it.
If it needs protection, wax/seal it.

If the panels are defect free and look good to you no sense in wasting time/product. Just jump into your protective products and be done.

Excellent advise from all the above posters. Remember the less you have to touch the painted surface , the better off you are.

Good. Thanks for the advise! It turned out pretty good for my first time. Now if someone could just come up with a way to keep the dust off a black car.... I'd be so happy!!! Lol!

Yep, agreed with CD07 and Dylan. Only do it if it's needed. Polishing and claying are the two biggest ones that fall under that category.

If you polish every week, for instance, you're just wasting time, effort, and product.

If I'm going to all the trouble of detailing my car I'm going to do it right, it's your car though so do what you feel is right.
