BG does not create the shine, polishing does.
Thanks for the correction Junkman. BG, even though it just masks imperfections, does give you one hell of a finish for a day or two

More than that if you put it under your wax.

I hear ya' man. I was the same way when I first got into detailing on the web. Check out this link. It will help when talking about Adam's products.

Zaino has their own set of acronyms too so don't get confused. Easy for me to say, huh...

That is if you have the cash to chuck for a PC. Advice though is not to go second rate! I compared a Porter Cable to the Simonize equivalent and made a huge mess with the "1/3rd the price" Simonize polisher. I ended up doing a thorough job by hand... had a great time... but didn't get the swirls and surface scratches out they way I wanted.

The next round will be with a Porter Cable and to follow Junkman step by step. Just gotta save some coin.

Bottom line: If you can't afford a PC, go by hand and save up your money.

And whatever you do, don't buy one of those crappy Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto or any other worthless orbitals that those auto and big box stores sell! I'm glad you figured that out Bond; I wish you didn't have to learn the hard way!

And don't buy those "made in china" microfiber towels.
