I got the edel brock e-force supercharger, but i feel like it just takes up way too much engine bay area as far as looks go the covers are extremely wide... anyone have customized version of these they'd like to share or an idea i could try to at least make it look better?

They're aluminum, i thought about taking a dremel to the indent section and putting a screen there from under with like a blue LED or something, i just dunno if i trust myself with a dremel, if i screw up - i wouldn't know how to fix ha.

btw - the SC'd section is blacked out in the first image cuz i was trying to get ideas from friends with out letting them know its SC'd haha

By the way whats it look like with the cover off??? never seen it.

That looks bad ass... i like that a lot. Did you just use sheet metal? is it painted or vinyl on top of the metal? what did you make the center piece on the metal out of? kinda looks 3d, but can't really tell...

They are made of stainless steel. I made patterns out of hardboard to get the dimensions then had a local place cut the steel. I painted the striping on and bought the emblems from Emblempros. I used a wire wheel on a drill to give them a brushed metal look - before I painted of course. My paint job isn't very good so I plan on trying again. I used some flat aluminium stock to make the brackets.

Maybe I'll have a few more sets of them cut if others are interested. Thats the easy part, making the brackets takes a bit of bending and fitting but its not too bad. A good summer afternoon project.

I do like it with out the covers, but a lot of exposed wires kinda make it look messy... Until I get creative to cover them up, I'm debating between with or with out the covers.
