Ok. Below is my research on several ok & bad Chevy dealers that I found before making my purchase at MSRP.

___________________
****CA (Pasadena Area)

Sierra Chev (3 to 4 month wait on allocations)

Wondries Chev ($5k above MSRP)

South Point Chev ($5k above MSRP)

Team Chevrolet (MSRP 3 months back logged)

O'Donnell Chev buick (Over MSRP did not specify)

_____________
****OK (Tulsa)

Riverside Chev (at MSRP)

Keystone Chev ($5k Over)

Danny Beck Chev (MSRP + Transaction ($199))

__________
**FL (Tampa)

Gordon Chev Geo ($5k over MSRP)

University Chev ($5 over MSRP)

Ferman Chev (MSRP)

Information was acquired in June 2009.

My advice is to call the dealer ask two questions:
1) Are you selling at MSRP or do you have a markup?
->If they say markup, say thank you and goodbye. Don't listen to their BS.
2) Do you have any allocations for the present month?
->If the answer is "no" ask what is their back log.

And then you can proceed as you wish. Also make sure that you can get your deposit back if for any reason you decide not to continue with the transaction.

A great dealer in Central Florida, selling cars for MSRP! Contact

Misty Hennen at Dyer Chevrolet, 1000 US Hwy 1, Vero Beach, FL

Phone: (772) 469-3000. Great dealership, great salesperson! She sold me my 2010 Inferno Orange 2SS/RS. Has quoted build time and delivery time really close so far. Last I heard they were not charging premiums!!! Go for it!!! It's worth the drive to go to them from wherever you are.

does anyone know... does a dealership need customer information in order to place an order with Chevrolet or can they just order cars for their dealership??

MSRP...

I ordered a 2SS at the end of May from Lowe's in Waynesville, MO. They told me up front that they were selling at MSRP.

I put down $500.00 today to lock it in and it's being built on Monday. The dealer told me to expect the car in about three weeks.

So far, they've ordered all their cars and I believe mine will be the 7th bought at that dealership.

They are also giving me one hell of a trade in... right at KBB's high end.

So far, so good... but now I have to buy a winter driver :(

Lawrenceburg Chevrolet-Pontiac-Buick-GMC
Lawrenceburg, IN (Western Cincinnati)

Had a 2010 2SS in Black for $48,750 MSRP. Somehow I don't think that is MSRP.

I bought 2 cars from them when they were Ande Chevrolet and they sold at $49.00 over invoice. The dealership was sold a few years ago. They also own Beechmont Ford here in Cincinnati. They'll never get anymore business from me.

There are a few others that mentioned Hubler as crooks. Hopefully, they got the "letter" from GM.

Follow up on my post for Ed Martin Chev in Anderson Indiana with a $2000 market adjustment. Drove by this Sunday to drool on the Victory Red 1LT with stripes and sunroof. This time - nothing about market adjustment but there was a tag that said Dealer installed stripes and window tint - $995 I think. Here is the question - on the GM window sticker - shows $470 for dealer installed stripe package. So do you have to pay extra to get the dealer to apply - or is this just a way to get your market adjustment without calling it that??? Interesting....
