New SS owner in Texas - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello everyone,
I just recently bought a 2010 SS and even though I'm new to the newer camaro world I have owned two other camaros, one was a white 83 z28 mint condition and a black 2000 z28. I also have owned 3 Trans ams, a 99 dark blue WS6, and two 02 WS6s, one black and one white.
So I don't know much about this car so any information would be helpful. I was told it is a 2SS/RS and I'm not sure if I understand all of that or know if it's true? The car originally had stripes but were removed due to sun damage.

well just so ya know....looking at the pictures, YES your car is a 2SS/RS. and CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome aboard!! The 2SS gives you the leather interior and the RS gives you the high intensity discharge (HID) headlights, body colored drip moldings on the roof and I want to say the gauge pack on the center console. The tailights are just a touch darker than the non RS and also a heads up display (HUD).
I think I got everything. This is the place to learn all there is to know about Camaros.

My RS came with the 4 guage pack, is that a separate option then? I bought it used a few months back.
