I disagree. I think the GT500 fighter will be something new, based off of the SS model. I think GM is going back to the first gen theme with the badges. The Z28 was not the end all be all Camaro, and neither was the SS. They were both high performance, with the Z28 made for the track, and the SS more for the drag strip. I think GM will come up with something new. Hmmmm....I wonder if GM will do a COPO for me??????

from what I've seen and heard, the 67-69 Camaro SS had a 350, while the Z-28 had a 302. The SS had more power, but the Z-28 was faster in the quarter mile... either way, I still want the Top model, whether it has a Z-28 or SS Badge doesn't matter to me.

Well...there ya have it! The SS WILL return. And, it wouldn't be a Camaro w/out having a Z28. So...we KNOW it will happen!

Ed may have slipped the SS, but it isn't that much of a suprise to me. With the amount of SS badged cars GM has right now, I would of been suprised if GM didn't make a SS Camaro. I just hope the SS is at a price I can afford.

Don't Lynch me for saying this, but for the GT500 fighter I would love to see a new badge name make an appearance. If it is supercharged I almost think its a must, anyone agree even a little? SS or Z28 should grace one trim level in my opinion. I just think this is a great chance to start a new badge name, some thing that will dominate the new war!!

Poor Ed he used to work at GM, now????? I bet Scott sends the black suburbans after him!!! He did pause and look to the ground! Poor guy probably thinking how bad they're gonna give it to him when he gets back! Love to see those kind of slips though. Cant wait for fbodfathers reply to that one!
