I know they look different from the Vette "production" seats, but the tags attached to them stated they were "Corvette - non-production".

Hmmmmmm...

OPC Insignia seats, the ones Justice Pete is showing are from the OPC Astra. I am sure they will not fit a C7, those seats are too wide. The C7 has to have the uniqe frame because it is very tight and narrow in that car.

If you've never gone you need to find a reason to go.

It needs to be on your bucket list for any car person. It is the largest gathering of people with great cars and trucks and an even bigger number of people that still care enough to go look at them.

Yes it's very commercial these days and I predict there will be a parade of Z/28s running up and down Woodward Ave. depending on when the CTFs are out and about. Probably C7s too. But worthwhile none the less.

Those harness pass-through's in the third pic (above) are good for two things:
1. Posing
2. Cutting the arms off at the shoulder of anyone dumb enough to actually use them for harnesses and experience a frontal impact.

Seriously, those things are an embarrassment to whoever designed them.

Why????

They're not C7 seats.

The Z/28 seats are definitely the best looking in my opinion. Hopefully the SS version of the Recaros is just a simple logo change.

Emphasis on "non-production" apparently.

Could have been intended for Corvette work at some point. It's possible that the seat frame itself would work in a Corvette. Underneath trim and foam it's possible it is the same seat.

I have seen it on TV news and on TV car programs. It's one of those things...special things...by all account that I can tell. Perhaps one day I can make the pilgrimage. Cruise circuits of any notoriety with American Muscle around here have gone by the wayside, but Woodward is a legend. Thanks for the suggestion Number 3!

Old Scool, when you have 15 minutes to "invest", try any one of these:

http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...be.MhaiTPUDF5o

Try to imagine over 1 million spectators spread over 15 miles or so (7 Mile to the Loop in Pontiac) and back...4 lanes each direction...and everything from $1 million exotics to WWII Half-Tracks... It originally was a One Day-only/One Time event but, over 20 events (this August), has now evolved into a week-long AutoLoveFest, same weekend as the 2nd Michigan NASCAR event.

Imagine Macy's T-Giving Parade only, instead of balloons, there's cars...and trucks...and more car's 'n trucks...

Bucket List event for sure!
