I believe only one company has cracked the ECU on our V6s. The company is Trifecta I think and theres a representative on the forum. I know there are a few V6ers out there that have the tune, but if your engine is completely stock, I don't think a tune will offer any gains. I may be wrong though and hope someone who has their car tuned can chime in.

youngkim, the Trifecta tune would be most benificial to you if your car has mods and your air fuel ratio needs to be corrected. Transmission can also be tuned to give better shifts. As far as voiding warranty, it depends on what caused the problem. The dealer will more than likely give you a hard time and not cover it if they know your car has been tuned. I do know that Vince's tunes are not detectable by the Tech II for the Cobalt SS. I have sent him an email to find out if it is the same for the Camaro. I have not installed any of his tunes on the Camaro yet, I will let you know what I find out.

I had someone contact me the other day with a 2010 v6 Camaro who's mods included an Injen CAI and long tube headers and were throwing a lean code. He is wanting a tune for better shifts and to correct his afr.

youngkim, the trifecta tune would have to be flashed back and forth with cables that can be purchased with a tune. However, as with a tune that is undectable by the Tech II(as it is for the HHR, Solstice, CobaltSS), GM can still tell if the ECU has been flashed if they dig deep enough.
