I think we supported Chevy(look at sales) it's time they supported us

So if anyone in chevy is listening, it's time for some performance upgradeds/boltons that are covered under the warranty, Also more performance options should be availible such as gears, and supper chargers with a camaro.

I'm with ya. Most; MOST dealers will honor a CAI, cat-back, shifter, maybe a few other tweaks, but that's about it. IF they do anything... it'll be all for the SS/ZL1. Us V6ers are gonna be left out to dry for quite. a. while. if you ask me, but I imagine they have more 'profitable' things to do with their time... jerks.

Well, technically they do have upgrades and bolt-ons (superchargers, exhuast etc... but you have to buy it from GM and have it installed by them to get it covered under warranty.

I thought some dealers said that even if they install it, it would void the powertrain warranty. I remember reading a thread where a guy was trying to get the dealer to add a GM hot cam to his car and the dealer said they'd install it but they wouldn't honor any powertrain warranty requests thereafter.

I can only campare chevy to it's number one competitor, which is offering waaaaay more performance options for both v6 and v8, and offereing incentives, and still being outsold, I think chevy has enough time to throw us a few bones

How is that the right business decision for them? If they are outselling the competitor now in a leaner fashion why spend money where it isnt needed. Think of it from a business stand point. They just came out of a rough financial situation and if the restructure is working for them, why change it an offer more then they need to.

I heard about that also. I wonder what's up? Maybe it's a dealer-specific thing?

I had been waiting for something as simple as a Cold Air Intake. Didn't happen, still hasn't happened. It's beyond ridiculous. My money has since been spent on the Vararam.
