V-4 mode buzzing from engine compartment passenger side

My car is at the dealer for the above issue (1400 miles). I have read countless threads about the NPP/V-4/AFM exhaust buzzing/rattle that can occur in the rear of the car at the muffler (AFM valve). This noise is definitely coming from the engine compartment.

I hear it between 30-50 MPH when the car is in V-4 mode, and I am ever so slightly accelerating. I assume the vibration from V-4 mode is causing the buzzing/rattle. I can also hear the noise at idle sometimes. Can only hear it from inside the car, cannot hear it standing behind at the exhaust.

Dealer is saying they hear it, but is already giving me the "it's normal" routine.

thoughts?

forgot to mention...dealer is saying it may be the serp belt tensioner? I highly doubt it.

just a follow up. Dealer said there is a TSB out for the fuel line that runs along the firewall and under the intake. The fuel line can rattle/buzz at times. They changes one of the lines and the rattle still exists. They want the car back next week so they can change one other line in the same area. We'll see.

Same noise from day 1. Mine is from the driver side.

Dealer changed the fuel line, belt tensioner and it is still making the rattle/buzzing nois

They don't know how to fix it so they told me it is normal. ( BS)
Now I just have to learn to deal with it.

Thanks for the reply, but this does not sound promising. My dealer is ordering the new tensioner now- it is on national back order. It sure sounds to me like something is buzzing on the firewall on the passenger side. I can hear it at idle sometimes. I can't believe this belt tensioner is going to fix it.

Dealer changed two fuel lines and the belt tensioner. No luck. Then they changed the AFM exhaust actuator on the passenger side by the manifold. That fixed the issue!...for one day. Rattle came back after 75 miles. Now dealer wants to replace entire exhaust system...so it will go back for the third visit. This is getting old....
