Yes it will. Very nice, but as you've got time ... INSIST that they remove the front license plate bracket and fill in the holes as it didn't come like that from the factory and you didn't ask for it !

As you can see from this video it is quite difficult to do this!

Since this has come out about the Camaro Key I bet all manufacturers are testing theirs and researching to see if they have any complaints on their cars.

I love the switchblade style key. I won't do the recall.

All Chevrolet does is file that so that on the off chance you turn your car off by hitting your key and you can't come back and sue them for this exact situation! They can't deny your warranty coverage for a key recall. Just think of how plausible that is for a second. Say something crazy happens like a cracked block, you think Chevy could EVER deny that because you didn't turn in your original key? Lol it's just common sense. Besides, they would get murdered trying to win that case.
^^^Spot on

There are only 2 other threads. One in the recall section and one about Stop Sales in the ordering section

No recall is mandatory. They never have been and never will be.

Unfortunately for me ..it'll be the wife's new ride...........again......... But hey, it's all good. I'll still get to drive miss daisy from time to time. My daughter bought our 2LT/RS from us ...at a huge discount of course, but more than top trade so everyone wins. My daughter is simply ecstatic over her Mom's ex new car. I'm happy for her as well. I put a lot of work into the cosmetic upgrades as well as a GM axle back exhaust kit. I look forward to tinkering with the SS once we get it. Thanks for the compliments...Thought about getting the RS package again but sorta' like the front end look of the non RS with the white SS badge. Saved a few bucks too and since this one is a 2SS she'll still have her HUD along with the sunroof option, navigation, and the black interior she had before. Of course it won't have those awesome halo DRL ,but oh well...I can still see the other one from time to time since it stayed in the family. I'll get some more shots up in the photo section in the coming weeks once I do a few little things to it.

Well many have probably been merged, there for a while it looked like a new thread popped up every hour or so.

No holes through the bumper skin on these brackets. It clips into the lower grill insert like the 2014 2LT/RS we had. Down here in Texas ,you gotta have a front plate or it draws the heat.....big time.

Well I am not in love with the one we have, I never liked it opening up in my pocket. I don't think it's that big of a deal. It's only a key, not like they are going to pull my 6 speed automatic out and put in a 2 speed Powerglide.

Yea I'm not emotionally attached to the existing key setup either. The stop sale over it raised my blood pressure a few psi though. It's better now.

And how many of us will lose work time in getting this done? They going to cover that? LOL!! Not only that the place one works at will lose out on the work getting done because we will be at the dealership dropping off our cars..

Many people don't live close to a dealership..
