here's a terrible photoshop i did...never done rims on a car before so i had no idead where to begin, but i guess you can get some idea. i think they look good on the ABM!! i've thought about wheels similar to this as well. i wouldn't do chrome personally though cause i just can't put in the time it takes to keep chrome looking good.

Nice Photochop!

I would have to disagree about the chrome statement. My wheels now are polished aluminum and the wheels on my FJ are the same (and silver painted) Both are a B$&#^ to keep clean. Too much work plus the clear coat gets chipped like mad!

I had Chrome on two other vehicles, and it's so easy to wipe them off and be clean than polished or machined wheels. Especially if they don't have a clear. IMO of course.

So I just got my car back today and I'm afraid the pictures will not do it justice as it was a pretty lousy day and the light is not great. But, I painted front and back bowties in silver, painted a cowl stripe in silver, then very faintly painted in my kids name (one on each side), painted the ditch molding, the center wheel bowtie and then the gills. These came out amazing, painted silver on the raised sections and black in the middle, but used a shadowing effect to make them look real. Still going to paint the brake calipers and put on a V-flag emblem.

The guy did an amazing job and he only does this part time.

So I'm having a lot of difficulty getting the pictures up, I will try from work tomorrow
