Catback exhaust or Axleback exhaust?

Are you plans for more performance? then do cat back maybe with some headers and h/f cats.

If your looking for just Sound a good axle back will do the trick.

Hope this helps

+1 GHL makes a nice axle back and cat back. I can vouch for both as I had their axle back on my vette and I now have their cat back on my Camaro.

If you just want to sound good all you need is the axle back. If you are looking to extract more power then go with the cat back.

you will have no regrets in getting a cat back exhaust. your entire exhaust piping, mufflers and tips will be replaced with stainless steel & mandrel bent parts. For the extra money a cutback will look, sound, and perform better.

People have already paid over 30k for their new cars, why try to save a few bucks on just getting mufflers. that is just my 2 cents.

From GHL http://www.ghlexhaust.com/Chevrolet.html

They were running an Ebay special on their catbacks a few months ago, $599.00 instead of $1199.00. Huge score considering the product quality.

Neither
I made the mistake of getting Borla axle backs and they drone a lot.
I think the cat backs are all over priced.
Save your money for bigger and better mods than exhaust.

I went with the SOLO PERFORMANCE MACH X Catback. For $750 shipped to the door, you cannot beat the price and the sound and throttle response could not be any more perfect. YOu get HUGE 4.5" DOuble walled tips and a quality designed X-Pipe Resonator. I have zero Drone!

Where did you get your Solo catbacks for 750? Best price I've seen was 894.
