2011 Camaro V6 exhaust questions/help please..
Whats up guys
So I've had my 2011 V6 Camaro for about a month and a half now and love it! But Im really wanting a new exhaust for it... A lot of muffler shops have been no help cause when they put 2011 in their "systems" nothing comes up for a 2011 Camaro lol so im also curious is the 2011 & 2010 exhaust system/layout the same? I want something that can give that deep American muscle rumble. With that said I understand it's a V6 so theres only so much "rumble" I can get from a V6 rather than a V8(Im a college student and parents weren't about getting me a V8 lol) So I need advice on maybe some ideas on what I should do, I would really appreciate the help... Thanks Side note: I received 2 Cherry Bomb extreme mufflers from my dad for xmas, should I just use those and get them installed? Asking this preferably to people with Cherry Bomb knowledge or have it on theirs already |

Here is the ultimate V6 exhaust thread !!!!!! http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33104. There is pretty much every combination available including cherry bomb. 2011 exhaust is the same as the 2010s. You can also listen to my setup if you click on the youtube link I have posted.

Glad you was able to check out my V6 exhaust sticky thread. If you have decent headphones or a good PC desktop sound system be sure to use those while listening to the videos...it makes a world of difference.
V6er can be a tough cookie to crack as far as getting a low tone with rumble, while keeping away much drone or rasp. I could go on and on forever, but in the end do yourself a favor and look over the thread and find what you like. From there, do more research into each system you like. There are lots of them I like, and some I hate. I'm partial to the ones that aren't overly loud or raspy, with a good low tone. With that said, I think OUR BEE has one of the best overall sounding V6 tones in the sticky thread, but going the long tubes route isn't the easiest or least expensive by far either.

Have you listened to MRT V1 and V2? Give them a try, there are a lot of guys running around with them on their car. V2 has a lower tone, but can still get loud. V1 has a louder/exotic tone to it.. MRT V1 is one of my top choices I will be looking into getting soon.

MRT 2.0 Axle Back
A couple of these sound bites have been added to the main page. Here are of mine from you tube. One that Scrming filmed for me while at Lapeer Dragway. Best is the last 30 seconds when I make a single pass. One that I created from inside while on the way to Lapeer Dragway. One from inside while on the track at Lapeer Dragway. (sorry about the camera tipping). Last one from danrc28 who was on his way home and wanted to hear my system. Starts off with idle, then getting on the expressway, then an acceleration run from inside, lastly a few passes going by the Camera at speed.
