They don't need to fill an entrie truck with just camaros do they. They can mix it in with other cars coming to my city too, right?
This is just for the initial build so they can build up inventory to put on truck and validation, etc.

They may mix Camaro and Impala or the cars may be sent to an intermediate distribution point and could be mixed with other cars. Allied Transportation does most if not all the trucking for GM in the U.S. They must schedule and load the trucks the most efficient way. I am sure that makes sense.

We all want our Camaros. We just need some patience and let the plant and truck driver's do their thing so we can receive a quality product.

Scott, I actually just touched on that. I think that is very realistic, don't you? It's too bad the Impala SS is R.I.P. Next week is the final order cycle for that car.

Maybe we can split a truckload of Camaros to Wisconsin!!!

You should hav had to wait on a Goat. Now those took forever! I would think it would be up to a month or so. I would guess the regionalize the shipping. Wil any of them go by rail?

Makes sense to me!

It's a SHAME for the Impala SS. It is a real fun car to drive! Kind of a little wicked torque steer when you floor it, but still fun! I would have liked to seen life in the redesigned RWD one that was spotted about a year ago...

Not All Vehicles Start their Journey By Truck

Hey guys, you also need to understand that not all vehicles shipped by GM start their journeys by Truck.

Many will be shipped by rail to varous distribution centers all across North America.

Much will eventually depend on volume and distances to delivery.

I'll never forget my first drive in a 2006 Impala SS. I was working in Louisville, KY at a Chevy store and took the car out on a rainy day. I put my foot in it and all I saw was a guard rail. Thankfully, I didn't make contact. Just a little torque steer is right!

I was working out of this little store in Random Lake....but the roads were dry...It was impressive! But not as impressive as a Red Z06 with a Corsa! And those perch fish frys!!! Just don't have fish frys here that compare !
