FL: Stingray Chevy in Plant City

Greetings Floridians. Went to the Strawberry Festival today and "Stingray Chevrolet" was there flaunting their stuff. I guess the dealership used to be something else that went under, and they bought it and run it now. They have a pretty impressive allocation number of Camaros (25) and claim to have been allocated 12 or 14 ZR1s and have sold (and are supposedly selling) all of everything at or below MSRP...said they would put that in writing.

They supposedly get 2 Camaros next month which is pretty good from what I can tell from people's feedback around here so I was again impressed. They offered the standard $500 deposit for ordering so that seemed right on target. Once I started asking about allocations and what they were allotted for the first month the dealer laughed and said that I seem to know plenty already (I plugged Camaro5 of course).

Before I throw them on the good dealer's list (I'm still holding out for the 'vert so I can't necessarily order and found out) I wanted to see what other people's dealings have been with them.

I think they may have even convinced me to buy one of the Super Bowl Traverses...more to come on that.

but have NOTHING to DO with Bill Heard.

They have allocation, and if you tell ERIC HALL at Classic I (CAMARO SCOTTY) SENT YOU, he can tell you more! He has MY SEAL OF APPROVAL!

So, do you know anything about current ownership?

I'm confused, Scotty...this Classic place is affiliated with a Florida dealership?

I just found out it was thise Texas owned dealership that bought the Plant City Dealership. Hence the tie in.

Awesome! I checked out two more dealers around me and they were both tools...so it's going to be Stingray as of this moment (in 9 months when I get my finances right).

I really look forward to your feedback.
