l99 ls3 conversion and whipple supercharger
Car going in to Cincy speed shop this coming wednesday for a cam l99 ls3 conversion and getting a whipple supercharger install can`t wait

If you are just changing to a stock LS3 cam, you might as well just keep the L99 cam and save the money. If you are paying for a cam swap there are much better cam choices.

Lol, I doubt he is keeping the stock cam. I believe he is talking about the ls3 conversion/dod delete

I'm saying if he is doing an LS3 conversion then he should so some cam other than an LS3 cam. Otherwise he can keep the stock cam and dod lifters. As long as Rpms are limited to about 6200 the stock cam and lifters are ok, just tune out afm.
I'm not trying to talk him out of a cam swap. I'm saying if he is going to spend the money on an LS3 conversion that he should put in a different cam than the LS3 cam or it isn't worth the money to do the conversion in my opinion.
