Hit the local drag strip last week for NorCal Camaros Club Night.

It was Wednesday Night Drags where locals are able to race for a discounted rate. The track prep was below average. Those on street tires with their ZL1's were getting 2.5-2.7 60' times.

I was able to trap 115 mph and run a 12.31 even with the poor conditions. My best 60' was a 1.9 on my 20" Mickeys. Need to heat the tires up a little more with a bigger burnout, but like I said before the prep was pretty bad. Also my first run I wasn't worried about my reaction time, just trying to learn to launch my car

My 12.31 was my last run when they started doing bracket racing. My dial in was 12.5 and I let off near the end to try to continue running the rest of the night .

Looking to head back May 7th for a Test and Tune. Generally, they take better care of the track for these events and conditions should be better.

My number is 8803:

115mph is good. I bet 11.9 will be achievable -

Circle d 4000 stall and adm tranny cooler are on the car. Breaking in the converter for 400 or so miles then heading to the track Wednesday night if the weather isn't too hot. Car runs so much better with the converter.

Went out to the track with the new stall. DA wasn't the best and the track wasn't prepped. My best run was 11.95 at 113 mph. Suspension and 15" might be next.

After searching around Camaro5 it I noticed that people selling used welds were pricing their rims higher than Mark Carlyle was selling them new.

Ended up ordering a set of Weld RT-S 77B's in a 17x10 rear and 17x5 set up. Looking to have my rims by the end of the week/early next week. Also purchased gorilla locks to fit the welds a little better than the oem lugs.

Already received my new rear tires from Summit, Mickey Thompson ET Street R's in a 305/45/17, waiting on the Mickey Thompson Radial 28" skinnys to arrive from Jegs on Friday.

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I daily it. No complaints on the stall, drives well. Thinking of adding 3.91 gears as well.

I don't see the 1E on their site either. What's different between it and a 4c or 5c?

Believe they're just different stall speeds. Could be wrong. Mine is 4000. I'd just give them a call, they have great customer service.
