If going on a road trip you know is going to be buggy - armor all the front bumper. Wipes work great.

Tim, how much did that run you and how quickly is it to take off and take on. I am thinking one of those would be perfect for trips to car shows plus protecting the car from rock chips.

Those front end covers to keep bugs out "can" cause damage to paint finish. I ordered new in summer of 1982 -a 1983 Monte Carlo SS (was return of chevy in NASCAR) car had a corvette motor and other performance stuff, and new race theme front end. For that era, car was fast. I bought a front end bra for that car to protect from rock chips and bugs, and the bra was lined for what I thought was perfect.

Turned out after 6 months of use, it moved so much with wind blowing against it worn paint off at edges, and scuffed/dulled the just about everything else. Yes, this sucker was on firm with a lot of straps/clips.

Never again have I used one. I will deal with bugs, and as others said use additional steps of protectants prior a road trip.

They wash off ok with soaking warm soapy water- but I hate bugs in the grill- too many years to keep to let that happen all the time.

Tim Im ready to pull the pin and buy one of these. I have clear bra on front of my camaro but still dont like cleaning the bugs. I think since these are so thin it is a great choice go for a ride take it off clean it and put it back on for the next trip. Let me know where you got it when you get a chance.
