Order Number??
Every time I ask I never get my GM order number from my dealer. I get a status update, and if on the phone they say they will e-mail the information to me but still nothing. I know I am in 3400, but do not have an order number at all. Is there any way to look up an order number? I am sure my dealer is getting frustrated with me because I keep asking for it but if he would just give it to me it would solve the problem. I never even got the letter with the picture or anything - almost wishy washy so it's total

Next time you go to the dealership ask to see your workbench sheet. It'll have the 6 digit alphanumeric order code on it. That's how I got mine.

Yeah, that does sound a little wishy washy. If the dealer place ur order, giving u ur order # should be no problem... It should be six letters( at least mine was, haven't heard of any with actual numerals)

Just call him and tell him that you are not getting his emails and to fax it to you. Some dealers have problems with the workbench web site not being able to send emails correctly. Don't know why but it does happen. I just request a fax and give them a number.
If you dont have a fax, go there and ask for a printout. You better do it now so you know you for sure that you are in the system with an order number and tagged as a sold order. Otherwise your dealer may have an out and then be able to sell the car to someone else.

They probably are trying to avoid you calling customer service all the time looking for updates.

Go in to the dealer, walk past your salesman and ask another salesman. Or call the dealer, ask to talk to the sales manager and just inquire as to how to change salesman. ONLY do this if you aren't hounding him too much. After all, they are trying to sell cars and he has allready sold you.
