First impression was that I like pretty much everything except the rear.
Not as much [angry/pitbull/rocketship] in styling as the '10-13 though. It may be a ploy to move all the current stock off the lots quickly. I'm Immensely pleased about everything in the Z28 except the exterior styling. I'm sorry, but it just looks "softer" than the current version. Maybe a dark color with a taillight blackout kit would address some of that problem. How much does an air conditioner weigh? I love that being only an option for the purists sake, but I need A/C. I'll see the announcement for the ZL1 before deciding if I need to scramble to find a '13 ZL1 before they are all gone.

Pictures lie. There is nothing soft in person regarding the Z/28.

I am shocked, stunned and unbelieveably happy! And one of the first things I noticed right away Z slash 28 (Z/28) just as it should be. I think the price is going to be way up there, but I think they did an excellent job of putting the pieces together to make an awesome Z/28!

Weight reduction, LS7, carbon brakes, even more track focused than a ZL1 or 1LE.
Great job Camaro team and GM, committed to building a 5th gen worthy of the Z28 nameplate! I wasn't sure the bean counters were gonna let it happen. For all that have been waiting for this car, congratulations!! Hope one finds its way to your driveway |

<$50K at dealers who do not gouge.
5% Racing Time, 95% Street = ZL1 95% Racing Time, 5% Street = Z/28 (no A/C, No sound deadening, No tire pump). Add some of those things back in and your weight will be back up to ZL1 weight so will lap times. I remain a creature of comfort. And speed.
