How do the turbos mount? Bolt-on or cut and weld?

Our rear diff is definitely not from the SS, and I recall reading somewhere that the 2LS auto is designed to only handle 330 fp of torque. This might be something to confirm before someone ends up blowing a transmission never intended to handle 400 pounds of torque.

Okay, found the torque numbers...

That's with a 5000 lb vehicle. I took mine higher than that, with a loose converter (more heat) for quite a while. It wasn't until I was over 900 ft-lbs at the crank it gave up, and that was locking the converter on many dyno pulls. A tranny cooler would be a good safety feature though.

I would have thought more people would have bought this kit by now. It's been out for over a year. I wonder why no one else has went this route? It seems to be solid and seems to make alot of power down low which I would think would be a blast on the street! I'm really wanting to buy this kit just don't want to regret it afterwards.

Another problem is the 93 tune.. I only have one gas station anywhere close that sells 93 and it's $1.20/gallon more than 91octane. The price I could prob live with but to only have one gas station to use.. idk how that would work. They say they need the car in house to do a 91 tune.. I guess I could wait for Matt from fsp to go to Texas but that would prob be 500 on top of the 600 IPS wants to tune it.

Also I wonder what kind of power this kit would make on the same dyno the same day with just the 7-9psi from wastegates only (no boost controller) and a 91 tune? Compared to the 460hp 440torque from the 12 psi and 93 tune.. maybe 400hp and 380tq? Idk what do you guys tthink?

I'd buy this kit in a heart beat except I need a way to pass smog here in Cali if I keep this car.

With the IPD S/C kit I can remove it easily when need and reinstall in the same weekend. Can't do this with the TT kit. Even though it makes more RWHP to the ground.

Issue is once you go beyond 500+RWHP on the LFX engine and drivetrain things seems to start breaking....

IPS is dead. Your not gonna be able to get this Kit unless you find it used.
