Bo let me talk with my buddy that plasma cut it for me and see what it's gonna cost i made a couple small changes to my model so that the loop would be more in line with Nhra rules and fixed a clearance issue that I had with the heat shield so if someone else did get one it would be a little better than mine... It would be un painted just FYI I will talk to him tomorrow and get back with u

Got the spacer for my cross member fabricated. This is the cross member off of a 6L80e. This spacer is 5/8" thick which when mounted will give me a 3 degree downward angle on the transmission output shaft to match the 3 degree upward angle of the pinion gear shaft of the rear differential.

Not near the work I thought it was going to be.

I am very confused why it did not seem to need a spacer on my setup to get the 3 degrees I just have my mount directly to my plate and I know my flat plate sits even lower then the cross member u have either I am missing something or not all th400 are the same when it comes to how they attach

Wired in and finished up the shifter, line lock and transbrake today. Have to put in the oil temp gauge and shift light and thats a wrap for the 6L80e to TH400 swap. The converter flashes right at 3600 rpm and drives great.

I also ran an OBDll plugin and a firewire for wideband to the passenger side so I can datalog without the cables tangled up in my feet all the time. Couple of pictures.

I've mounted and wired the LPE LNC-003 launch controller (2step) as well as firewall mounted the transmission dipstick.

The launch controller power is wired directly in with the transbrake power so both activate and release with the momentary switch on the console. There is no stray electrical interference with either which was a concern I had. I'm only activating one side of the LNC-003 so it was only necessary to tap the orange wire into the 12v power.

The dipstick is a 36" Lokar locking dipstick. I thought it was stainless steel but from the price, I'm sure it's sterling silver I had to cut 5 inches off the tube and stick to get the right length for mounting.

A couple of pictures to show where I chose to mount them on the firewall. I chose this place as there is a factory hole into the cabin under the lower left corner of the cabin air filter that the orange wire from the launch controller can easily be run to the console and tied into the transbrake power.
