Hey all, I have had the same issue with my 2LT and piston 1 had a bad bearing! Check out my threads about it as I have many pictures of the inside of the LLT engine. they dropped the engine and tranny and tore it all apart. bad news for me.

They SHOULD have changed the engine but elected only to fix it,crap! The check engine light is on and off all the time, it sputters and stalls now, it starts roughly its terrible! I am in negotiations to upgrade to an SS, check out my threads to see. I will post links for you all in this thread to help out Darkness.

The perma-grin effect pictured above by a good buddy giving me a ride in my Camaro!
Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

Sounds like time for an lsx swap.

Anyways, whaaaaa I had to bring my car to the dealer. My buddies 2010 STI has been at the dealer about 10 times since he got it. Quit yer whining.

One time I got a nail stuck in my tire. I lost all faith in driving on the streets if they cant even keep a simple nail out of it.

12 days and they have not yet identified the problem...There is no way I'
m getting my car back before Friday, which will make it at least 16 days I haven't had my car. My best guess is it won't be done until next monday or tuesday, making it a 20 day wait.

This car has officially turned into a complete regret.

I would be more inclined to regret bringing it to that particular dealership, personally....

I agree...sounds like they are giving you the runaround. Hope they are at least giving you a nice loaner car.
