Thumbs up Vendors and Shops that stepped up and beyond when needed!!!

I have heard many stories at the event, and on different threads here, how a vendor or performance shop helped out when needed. So far everyone I talked to said the help was done for free with no strings attached!!! This thread is for all who would like to post a special thanks to these AWESOME businesses who assisted us when they didn't have too!

CIA Intake

I would like to say a special thanks to CIA cold intakes. I bought my intake a couple of months ago, and love it! I'm not sure when, but some kind of liquid got splashed on my intake lid. I have the Stainless Steel/Clear top. When I stopped by their vendor booth to tell them how happy I was with the system, and show them my engine, the guys insisted to clean it up for me. When the liquid spots would not come off, they took a lid off of one of thier demo's hanging and replaced it with mine. The stains were no fault of them, and I didn't request or expect this at all but they insisted on replacing the cover. Thanks again CIA!!!

Pete with Pedders really came to impress: Not only was he under cars, but ran one Hell of an event!

I also know Lingenfelter was on the spot helping with tunes, and getting a wounded Camaro off the strip after it shelled the rearend.

That is what makes this hobby so great! Great people, great cars, and great times!!

Nice. On both those counts. Pete is first class and he has Jedi Mind Control.

Actually, I'd like to thank Owen from ARD for the use of tools to swap my wheels out for the DRs, and for tuning my car to help the L99 cause.

ARD also stepped up huge for Robert (SSE 4 2SS) to swap out 2 turbos.

Bravo ARD.....

I need to thank Mr. Hotchkis, Mike Haddad and Rob from Wretched. We were grossly understaffed at the AC and these guys stepped up big time to help us out...

thanks so very much!

BORLA

The guys at the BORLA booth were amazing in helping with my search in type of exhaust I was looking into. I've been looking into getting a new exhaust system for quite a while and was particularly sold on BORLAs ATAK Systems that they just came out with, but though as always you just can't get the right quality sound through video. When I went to their booth and asked them about the ATAK exhausts they said they have them installed on the cars on display. And without hesitation they asked if I would like to hear them to get the final sound check to determine which is the type out the three packages I would be more interested in. Well they couldn't find the keys for the cars as they were with someone that was walking around the show, so instead of just saying sorry and sending me on my way they went out running to look for the guy to get the keys while showing me eveything about the exhaust underneath the cars. They got the keys and started them up to have me listen and also let me sit in the cars to see if that was the sound in which I was looking for. With all of that customer service and going the extra mile, in my book, I have finally come to conclusion and peace of mind that am going with the BORLA ATAK Touring exhaust system. Thank you BORLA for your help and the final bits of info and sound check that I needed!!!
