Nothing like normal but that's to be expected because of the loooong break. Once I hit the weights again I'm sure they'll fill right up.

I'm going slow, no need to push myself and cause another injury.

Glad to see you here! You'll be back in action! We all are!

Had a great chest workout! I've got a new workout partner, don't know if he will show up tomorrow after today's workout.

It's better with a partner, that way you can push yourself and increase strength faster! I'm been talking it easy not feeling too well plus snow not helping!

Wow, great job.

I am in Boston this week for work. Holy crap does my boss want us to eat. Eating low calories is hard here, Capital Grille for lunch today and Aprile's European Restaurant for dinner.

And that is one of the many reasons I have a home gym.

Here's something to give some thought to especially if you are limited to room or live in an apartment or dorm. You can purchase 2-3 items that won't break the bank and will give you a complete workout.

(1) Dumbells. You can get adjustable dumbells, I myself have powerblocks. They take up about 2 square feet of room and go from 10-50lbs 0r even to 75lbs.

(2) an adjustable bench. They don't take up much room and with the use of dumbells will allow for a very complete workout. You can get one with leg attachments .

(3) if you are man enough, spend 10 bucks on a jump rope. You may think it's funny but I promise you jumping rope will give you an intense cardio workout even if you're in great shape. Incorporate HIIT into it and you will melt away fat and build endurance like you wouldn't believe.

Search craigs list for some great deals. People always buy this stuff with good intensions and after they realize it's work and abort the idea, then sell this stuff cheap. Most of my equipment is commercial grade that came from gyms that closed down. Got them for pennies on the dollar.
