To Supercharge or Not to Supercharge?

Hey everyone, I just really want to know what were the pros and cons of putting a supercharger on their camaro, such as mpg, performance, etc. etc.

So, which ones can you install and retain warrantee? I recall my dealer telling me that there are two brands which would allow this.

No cons I can think off either...
More speeding tickets maybe... But Making some 5.0s victims with ease... They equal out so I'd say go for it.

Normally gas mileage is better, believe it or not. I'm about ready to do a Magnuson myself along with the ZR1 (LS9) camshaft and a bunch of other stuff.

You will not retain your factory drive train warranty if you install a supercharger. BUT, some manufacturers offer a 36 month limited power train warranty as an extra charge.

I did not think that supercharging was a question of yes or no, but merely "when can I afford this?"

I'm glad I did. Pro's- fun, power, better fuel economy
Cons- if you are worried about drivetrain warranty then just don't do it. Some manufacturers offer a drive train warranty but you better read all the "not covered if's"
